3 Drown Attempting to Cross Eagle Pass, Texas Democratic Party all of a Sudden Cares

As the situation continues to escalate down at the border, the Democrats have begun to chime in on Abbott seizing control of Eagle Pass from CBP. Henry Cuellar broke a story of 3 drowning in the Rio Grande Valley where the National Guard has taken control over.

Cuellar fails to mention that this is one of the deadliest crossings and currently, the area is averaging at least one drowning in the river per day.

According to Jorge Ventura of News Nation:

“One of my latest reports from Eagle Pass was a story about how at this exact crossing point has become one of the deadliest along the southern border. Local officials tell me they are averaging a drowning per day and don’t have room to continue burying deceased migrants in their local cemeteries”

From Bill Melugin: The Texas Military Department has released a statement denying TX Congressman Cuellar’s claim that TX soldiers blocked Border Patrol from rescuing drowning migrants and refused to offer assistance themselves near Shelby Park in Eagle Pass.

FULL STATEMENT:

“The Texas Military Department is aware of a social media post concerning the drownings of 3 migrants.

TMD was contacted by Border Patrol at approximately 9:00pm in reference to a migrant distress situation. TMD had a unit in the vicinity of the boat ramp and actively searched the river with lights and night vision goggles. No migrants were observed.

At approximately 9:45pm TMD observed a group of Mexican authorities responding to an incident on the Mexico-side of the river bank. TMD reported their observations back to Border Patrol and they confirmed that the Mexican authorities required no additional assistance. At that time TMD ceased search operations.

At no time did TMD security personnel along the river observe any distressed migrants, nor did TMD turn back any illegal immigrants from the US during this period. Also, at no point was TMD made aware of any bodies in the area of Shelby Park nor was TMD made aware of any bodies being discovered on the U.S. side of the border regarding this situation.

TMD maintains water rescue equipment and actively works with local EMS to aid migrants in need of medical care.

So why are the Democrats all of a sudden caring about the conditions down at the border? They don’t seem to care that nearly 9 thousand children are currently under DHS custody.

The uniparty certainly does not care about the fentanyl crisis which was created through Mexican cartels trafficking fentanyl for the Chinese’s through the border which has resulted in now killing Americans every 11 minutes. Most recently, I’ve been informed that fentanyl is now being laced in marijuana, so you should suspect that there will be an uptick in teenage deaths due to black market selling of the product.

It is almost as if the upcoming election season has jazzed up all the actual problems down at the border, so if that’s going to happen- You might as well start hitting them back with actual numbers, talking points and solutions.
