Based Mike Lee on the FISA 702 Cult Acolytes Delaying their ‘Day of Reckoning’
We never needed this FISA 702 extension—either in the NDAA or otherwise.
Laws passed by Congress at the end of 2017 would allow 702 collection to continue, at least through April 11th, 2024, even if 702 lapsed at the end of 2023.
So why did the FISA Cult and its congressional acolytes demand this?
They’re delaying the day of reckoning.
They’re trying to avoid an angry electorate until a more convenient time.
And it’s making Americans mad.
Really mad.
With good reason.
Under the same provisions mentioned above—those passed by Congress at the end of 2017—the extension airdropped into the NDAA could easily be used to extend FISA 702 collection well into 2025, months after the November 2024 election.
We cannot let that happen.
If the FISA Cult’s acolytes try to delay the FISA 702 expiration and reauthorization debate as we approach April 2024, telling us it isn’t necessary, we must use their own words against them.
We must never, ever trust the FISA Cult again.
People in our government are using 702 as a way to directly attack our constitutions fourth amendment: The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.
we have witnessed this DIRECTLY with the January 6th political prisoners being illegally spied on.
