The FEC is investigating Rep. Jasmine Crockett over donations to her 2024 campaign made through ActBlue. The probe, initiated after a March 26, 2025, complaint by the Coolidge-Reagan Foundation, focuses on allegations of fraudulent contributions. Specifically, 53 donations totaling $595 were reportedly made under the name of Randy Best, a 73-year-old Texas resident, whose wife claims no knowledge of these transactions. The complaint suggests Crockett’s campaign, through her committee Jasmine for US, received about $870,000 via ActBlue, with concerns that other donations may follow a similar pattern of being made without donors’ consent.
