On January 4, 2022 Harris Counties Commissioners Court passed another 3-2 party line vote (Democrat) a Harris County Policy for payment of County officials’ and Employees’ “reasonable legal expenses” incurred with a criminal investigation where such investigation concerns the performance of that official’s or employees’ job duties with the County.
