Houston Leaders Launch Guaranteed Universal Basic Income Program with Registered Sex Offender
In a press conference this past week, the Houston Progressives launched their first American Rescue Plan Act-funded Universal Basic Income Program alongside registered Sex Offender who also doubles as a Church Pastor, Eddie Deckard.
According to Deckards CHURCH website, He is a member of the NAACP and was part of the Spring ISD superintendent search committee.
Is it strange that a school would choose a man on the sex registry list to choose a school superintendent?
In 2015, Spring ISD parents were outraged upon learning that Deckard was running church services for the school.
You really cannot make this stuff up for the local leaders in the county. The UBI program has been plagued with issues from the vendors being caught for fraud, and still the county leaders still chose to move forward with this program.
In the last 2 years, Deckard’s church has received nearly $17 thousand dollars from The county. Strangely, there’s no invoice number for the $7,250 payment. I’ve submitted a PIA to the auditors office to understand what these payments could be for. Could the payments be for renting the church for a polling location?
Also, why hasn’t the city or county looked into arresting the 6 other men who raped those two toddlers in the Galleria? This story by no means should be memory holed.
