Paxton Appeals Austin Judge Orders to Release Uvalde Case File
Texas AG Ken Paxton, representing Texas DPS, appeals an Austin judge’s order to release the Uvalde case file within 20 days.
This move further prolongs the public’s full understanding of what happened May 24, 2022.
DPS has cited a request from the Uvalde DA to withhold it.
There may be some private citizens, whose names should not be made public. With that exception, I can’t think of any good reason why this information should be withheld from the public.
