Texas can now continue to enforce SB4 pending SCOTUS litigation results. While SB4 will do virtually nothing to stop the invasion, the precedent this could set will be somewhat helpful to states in the years to come. States still need to establish Article I authorities to actually address the invasion when the federal government refuses to.
