Senator Joan Huffman released a statement regarding Houston’s police Chief Troy Finner statement that the city had not investigated over 4,017 sexual assault cases since 2016. The former Mayor, Sylvester Turner still has yet to release a statement on the matter, and I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for an apology to his constituents from Turner.
