Texas AG Paxton States Vaccine Bid Rigging Charges were Dismissed due to a Cop “Changing Testimony”
Attorney General Ken Paxton discussed on the Chris Salcedo show that his office dropped charges against three of Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo’s former staffers—Alex Triantaphyllis, Wallis Nader, and Aaron Dunn—related to an $11 million COVID-19 vaccine outreach contract awarded to Elevate Strategies, run by Democratic consultant Felicity Pereyra. Paxton explained the decision was due to a police officer altering their testimony, which led his office to conclude there wasn’t sufficient evidence to proceed. The case, initially investigated by the Texas Rangers and Harris County DA’s office, alleged the staffers misused official information and tampered with records to favor Pereyra’s firm.
