During Trump’s first address to Congress since his inauguration on January 20, 2025, Rep. Al Green, a long-serving Democrat from Texas’s 9th district, was escorted out of the House chamber. The incident occurred early in the speech—within the first 15 minutes—when Green stood in the aisle and shouted that Trump had “no mandate,” disrupting the proceedings. House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) warned Green multiple times to stop interrupting and take his seat, but Green persisted, shaking his cane and continuing to yell. Johnson then ordered the Sergeant-at-Arms to remove him, citing a breach of House decorum rules. As Green was led out, some members reportedly sang “Na Na Hey Hey Kiss Him Goodbye,” while Republicans chanted “USA!” to drown out his protests.

Hopefully just senility kicking in rather than evil
Ah..good 'ole Oil Can. I had the privilege of shutting down his ObamaCare townhall at the Power Center on Post Oak @ Main in August 2009. It collapsed with his paid SEIU throng of goobers breaking out the "si se pueda!" as I escaped out the door. Fun times I tells ya!
