This is Christina Triantapyllis, Alex Triantaphyllis’ wife. Christina works for Texas Policy Lab at Rice University. The Texas Policy Lab was responsible for all the draconian Covid 19 restrictions Harris County judge Lina Hidalgo unleashed on her constituents. The Lab was founded in 2018 with a $6.6 million grant from Arnold Ventures. The very same Arnold Ventures who have donated their “bail tool” to Harris County’s Justice Administration Department. The Lab is responsible for “cutting-edge scientific analysis in collaboration with Texas policymakers to improve the effectiveness of public programs. It focuses primarily on public health and health care, early childhood and youth development, labor markets, and criminal and juvenile justice.”
This is where things get oh so interesting, Alex Triantaphyllis is Lina Hidalgo’s Chief of Staff, and currently is neck deep in the Vaccine Outreach Bid Rigging Scandal.
Alex not only works for Lina Hidalgo, prior he had worked for BakerRipley, which has received over 73 million from our county in Covid Relief funding.
It gets better, Alex Triantyphillis brother Christian Triantyphillis is an immigration attorney. I’m curious if he receives any contracts from the county or BakerRipley? BakerRipley is known for their immigration legal services fund work.
This seems a bit corrupt, no?
Possibly a conflict of interest….
Looks like we could file a complaint to the scjc
