Why is the Houston Chronicle Running Defense for Lina HIdalgo?
This moning the Houston Chronicle Sunday edition dropped an article running defense for Lina Hidalgo and her staffs alleged illegal tactics they used in the bid procurement process, of the *alleged* blatant bid-rigging. After reviewing their claims. It was blatantly obvious that Lina’s legal counsel, Kathryn Kase who is married to the former Houston Chronicle Editor seemingly had their hands in this article which was written. Below I will list out a series of FACTS:
Jeff Cohen who now works for Arnold Ventures have very close ties to the Houston Chronicle.
Lina’s lawyer obviously has influence over the Houston Chronicle, and could have possibly used her connections to have this piece written
Lina’s staff claim the texts “were taken out of context”
From my reviewal Elevate Stategies did not have other jobs prospects.
The accident e-mail excuse it almost comical.
Lina’s Chief of Staff wife works with the Texas Policy Lab which was funded by Arnold Vetnures. You can read more about it here
Lina’s senior staff member Aaron Dunn left shortly after the Texas Rangers search which is suspicious.
