Good grief Charlie Brown. This reminds me of a recent water break on a main road (40mph) that is a stones throw from me. The first six road pavings that covered the repairs were better and smoother to drive over, with each paving. Yes SIX, but it was six repairs to their first repair, and a total of SEVEN related road pavings, along with the cones and the signs and the traffic and the noise that comes with the job of digging up a pipe and cutting 8'x4' piece of asphalt to get to it. I saw the city workers and at least three maybe four other private companies in the final repairs. One water leak, seven pavings, three to four companies and the city crews, probably 50-60 men, over 2 months. Behold the City at work!

There was a broken water main near my house about this time last year the didnt get turned off for weeks.
The city apparently not hiring the sharpest knives in the shed.
