Totally agree this is a performance and very I’ll conceived. It’s the Uniparty thinking. Gin up the base but work fir the other side to achieve common goals. I think the immorality isn’t even a consideration. Pray for us and the sins of our nation!

The emphasis must be to prevent illegal entry. I hear much rhetoric from Abbott about this but action always is muted. Maybe Abbott needs to hire Karl Lake to wear the big girl pants!

An excuse Abbott probably use is "It seemed to be the right solution at the time."

Agreed. In many ways, he’s a bystander.

Merissa, do you do speaking engagements? I’m part of True Texas Project Bay Area (South Harris County and Galveston County).

Merissa, who is the big Abbott donor who sells/leases property to illegal aliens? I have been wondering who is controlling Abbott, and why he is all talk and no action when it comes to the border!

I beg to differ Merissa. Sending these illegals to other states puts those states in the same uncomfortable situation as TX. Not as bad, that's true. But they're getting pushback from the communities they rely on for votes. Example: In Chicago, some of the local black residents who have been on waiting lists for cheap government housing are pushed to the back of the line. They're not happy about it, and they've done public protests. More power to 'em.

If anything, Abbott should do a lot more. Send them to smaller states where they'll have more impact- like DE, RI, NH, VT. And upscale communities like The Hamptons, Chappaqua, White Plains, Forest Hills, Martha's Vineyard.

When DeSantis sent a planeload to Martha's Vineyard, they tolerated it for just a couple of days before dispatching them off the island to a military base. The left doesn't seem to care when they're shown to be hypocrites. But the people in the middle, the swing voters, they notice.
