In a 3-2 party line vote, the Democrats in Harris County approved the new Election Administrator Clifford Tatums salary of $280 thousand a year. Mr. Tatum will be taking home $90 thousand more than his predecessor Isabel Longoria.
It is becoming quite alarming the salaries the County Employee Heads are taking home. Most of the department heads were cleared out by the Democrats in 2019, and the new hires were outfitted with salaries which rival those of heads of fortune 500 companies.
The unelected County Administrator David Berry is making: $360 thousand a year
The new budget director, Daniel Ramos who was brought in from Baltimore is making over $185 thousand a year.
Harris Health Director Barbie Robinson $200+ thousand.
