Harris County Democratic Precinct 1 Commissioner Rodney Ellis and Precinct 2 Commissioner Adrian Garcia are joining a push for federal election monitors at Harris County polling locations on the Election Day Nov. 8 over concerns of possible voter intimidation. Ellis and Garcia sent a joint letter Wednesday requesting that the U.S. Department of Justice send federal attorneys and staff to monitor election proceedings in the county. The request comes just weeks after Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo, along with Harris County Attorney Christian Menefee and Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner made the same appeal. Noticeably missing from the letter was Lina Hidalgo….
According to insiders, Lina knows that Ellis and Garcia have thrown her to the wolves. The two men are probably under the guise that they are safe in their commissioners’ seats and know Lina has become the sacrificial lamb. She was used to serve a larger purpose and had done her job quite well for the higher-ups. Now, Lina most likely will lose her County Judge re-election, and is facing being indicted in the Vaccine Outreach bid-rigging scandal. If Lina was smart, she would talk and cooperate with investigators for protection. Once Lina is out of office, she no longer will have 24/7 security which had been funded by Harris County taxpayers. Nor will we be footing the bill for her legal fees, remember how the County passed an agenda item allowing taxpayers to foot the bill for any of their wrongdoing as long they are a county employee? Yeah, they did that.
It’s unfortunate what these people have done to Hidalgo, she was used and propped up by the “powers that be”. Now that they have no use for her, she is most likely to be taken down. She had the media constantly run cover for her, and she’s lost that. She has become a leper to them, and they artificially gave her hope. She’s only 31 and her life has been ruined by Rodney Ellis. I know that I give Hidalgo a hard time, but so much of what has been done to her was facilitated by others… She had no clue that they were going to do this to her. These people are evil, and callous. They serve a radical purpose and will take anyone out that gets in the way of it.
