Charles Butt, the CEO of HEB and large democrat PAC donor inserted himself in the 2020 election by writing a amicus brief in defense of the interim county clerk Chris Hollins sending out mass mail-in ballots. I couldn’t figure out what a billionaires motives would be to wield their influence in a presidential election, until I found some contracts our local government and state awarded to HEB for vaccine incentive gift cards. I also discovered that Charles Butt sat on the board of CIS with the democrats in my county.
Charles Butt, Rodney Ellis, and Sheila Jackson Lee all sit on the board together of Communities in Schools. Remember when Sheila Jackson Lee tried to have President Trump impeached? I do.
When you dig into the donors page for Communities in Schools you can find non other than the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. We know about how the Zuckerberg’s involved themselves with the 2020 Presidential election by donating large sums of money to CTCL, which facilitated in my opinion, Democratic Gerrymandering.
In Harris county, the Democratic majority in commissioners court accepted 9.6 million from CTCL. (3-2) party line vote. The interim county clerk Chris Hollins brought this agenda item to commissioners court, Chris Hollins then *strategically* placed many of the drive-thru locations in Rodney Ellis’s district which is heavily Democratic.
